WizkidStar Says He Shows Off To Keep Fans Motivated Wizkid said that he has hustled for all he owns and so he shows fans his gold watches and necklaces to keep them motivated.

 

Wizkid has addressed accusations that he shows off his wealth via social media like a lot of Nigerian celebrities do.

The star said that he has hustled for all he owns and so he shows fans his gold watches and necklaces to keep them motivated.

According to Vanguard, Wizkid said in a chat with Matinee:

 “I don’t show off my wealth on the social media. Most of the things I have acquired in life, I never had them before I started hustling. So, now that I have them, I need to show people that these are the things I have gotten from my hustle.”

“When I started, I wasn’t wearing gold necklaces and wrist watches. So, when I buy these pieces of jewelry, I display them for my fans to get them motivated.”

Wizkid has in recent times come under a lot of fire after being involved in feuds with Davido, Saeon and SamKlef.

“D1” has joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) and is seeking to represent the Odogbolu Constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly.

He said via Instagram:

“My dear friends. Having succumbed to the wishes and requests of my people in Ogun state I have decided to contest in the 2015 elections. Kindly keep me in your prayers as I embark on this next phase of my life”

A poster has been released showing his political ambition and it describes him as “the one we trust.”

This comes as fellow Kennis Music member, Kenny Saint Brown also declared her intention to run for office under the Lagos APC.

Hennessy Artistry Club Tour: Wizkid, Tuface leave Ghanaian fans spellbound

Ghanaians got a taste of their awesomeness when they were graced with performances of the two at a concert  at the Accra International Conference Centre
last night, Saturday, October 18th.

It was bliss! The duo kept churning legendary lyrics from their collabo song and other hit tracks of theirs.

Annie Idibia was on site to support her husband, she got to groove while at it and rocked the floor with some sublime “Shoki” moves.

WizKid and label mate L.A.X also shared moments on stage, they closed the show after getting all the caro’s in the building to dance to “Caro” as well as “Ginga”.
